J. Willgoose, Esq.
(Public Service Broadcasting) Signature Stellarosa
Our second collaboration with Public Service Broadcasting was designed with the recording of their latest LP “Bright Magic” in mind. Charting at no. 2 in the UK, the album addresses band-leader J. Willgoose’s fascination with the city of Berlin in a vibrant study of its myths, characters and history.
Based on our two-pickup Stellarosa Standard, this signature model has a longer 25.5” scale length for extra twang and to help accommodate the various tunings which contribute to Public Service Broadcasting’s diverse sound. The body has a simplified slab edge and a satin Olympic White finish, in keeping with the band’s new livery.
The unique pickup switching system offers 6 different options: bridge, parallel, series, out of phase, neck & kill. In the studio, this makes the J. Willgoose, Esq. Signature Stellarosa incredibly versatile, with tones ranging from thick humbucker snarl to chiming indie or bright, percussive funk. For live work we’ve duplicated these options across twin 6-way rotary switches which can be quickly flipped between with the A/B toggle switch, giving you quick & easy access to your verse, chorus or solo sounds, plus killswitch stutters.
